We need a holiday to honor think about those instructors who impacted your life. The teacher who inspired you into a position of leadership. The teacher who dared you to be a pilot. The teacher who directed you to be a computer programmer. The teacher who tapped into your creativity and encouraged you to be a writer. The teacher who struck a cord for the start of your music career. The teacher who planted the seed for your new business, medical, or legal career. The teacher who gave you the confidence to excel in sports, and to deal with the difficult problems and people you were sure to encounter.
This holiday is Teachers' Day!
我們需要一個(gè)節(jié)日來回報(bào)和思考把我們的生命變得豐富和堅(jiān)強(qiáng)得教師們。無(wú)論您是一位政府官員、一位飛行員、或者是一位計(jì)算機(jī)程序員、更或者您是一位音樂家、商人、醫(yī)生、律師、體育運(yùn)動(dòng)員，您都應(yīng)該清楚地明白，這一切都離不開教師們的努力。
這個(gè)節(jié)日就是教師節(jié)。
1、我國(guó)教師節(jié)的演變(Evolvement of Chinese Teachers' Day)
·"6.6"教師節(jié)：1931年5月，教育家、南京中央大學(xué)教授爽秋、程其保等發(fā)起，擬定每年6月6日為教師節(jié)。
·"8.27"教師節(jié)：1939年，當(dāng)時(shí)的政府教育部決定以中國(guó)教育家孔子的誕辰8月27日為教師節(jié)。
·"5.1"教師節(jié)：1951年，中華人民共和國(guó)教育部、中華全國(guó)總工會(huì)共同商定，將教師節(jié)與"五一"國(guó)際勞動(dòng)節(jié)合并一起。
·"9.10"教師節(jié)：由王梓坤教授發(fā)起，1985年1月21日，六屆全國(guó)人大第九次會(huì)議正式通過國(guó)務(wù)院關(guān)于建立教師節(jié)的議案，并決定9月10日為我國(guó)的教師節(jié)。
2、Teachers' Day in Singapore(新加坡的教師節(jié))
On 31st August, was a day like any other schooldays, except that the teachers, instead of being bogged down by assignments were besieged by gifts, flowers and cards from the ever-grateful students.
8月31日，仍是一個(gè)需要到學(xué)校的日子，但是教師們?cè)谶@一天將被倍受感激的學(xué)生們送來的禮物、鮮花、賀卡包圍。
The hall was beautifully decorated with colourful balloons and streamers. The Class Chairman and Vice-Chairman were given the honour to invite the teachers personally to the hall. With each teacher's arrival, the students roared and cheered for them.
禮堂被彩色的氣球和橫幅裝的富麗堂皇。每個(gè)班級(jí)的主席和副主席很榮幸地去邀請(qǐng)他們的老師。每一位老師的入席都伴隨著學(xué)生們的興高采烈的呼聲。
The concert comprised of dances and song performances that were all put up by our very own talented students! The audience even crooned to the rhythm of the songs. Our students also 'boogied down' with slick dance steps while the Balinese dancers impressed all with theirdelightful costumes and grace.
音樂會(huì)全部由該校有才能學(xué)生的歌舞表演組成。臺(tái)下的聽眾跟著歌聲低聲吟唱。巴厘島的舞女們展示著自己的節(jié)日盛裝的優(yōu)雅身姿，同時(shí)學(xué)生們也翩翩起舞。
The culmination was of course the last item that was put up by some teachers. They sang a song entitled, "I love to teach the world to sing". It was very heart warming and the performance received the loudest applauds from the audience.
音樂會(huì)的高潮是當(dāng)然是最后一個(gè)節(jié)目，一些教師將合唱他們的歌曲"我要教會(huì)世界去歌唱"。真摯的表演獲得了觀眾們最高的喝彩。
3、Teachers' Day in Latvia(拉托維亞的教師節(jié))
We celebrate Teachers ' Day on the first Sunday of October.
我們的教師節(jié)是在10月份的第一個(gè)星期日。
The celebrations usually take place on Friday. All pupils show performances to teachers in the hall. Pupils present a lot of flowers to teachers. The most interesting thing is that teachersacting as pupils have a lesson with senior pupils acting as teachers. They teach, ask questions and play games as a usual lesson. Teachers usually behave badly, they are late, chew gum, talk to deskmates and have to be reprimanded and sent to the head teacher who is also a senior pupil.
慶�；顒�(dòng)一般提前在禮拜五舉行。學(xué)生們?cè)诙Y堂里為教師們舉辦表演，并送給老師大把大把的鮮花。最有趣的活動(dòng)是教師們將以學(xué)生的身份參加由高年紀(jì)學(xué)生扮演老師主持的一節(jié)課。他們教授、提問、做節(jié)目，就像真的一樣。老師們將扮演壞學(xué)生的角色，他們遲到、咀嚼口香糖、交頭接耳、被訓(xùn)斥和打小報(bào)告。
